STARS Travel Program
Crystal Lake Baseball will be offering a local travel baseball program “The Stars” for baseball players ages 9-12. Players must tryout and be selected in order to participate in the program. The Stars program includes indoor winter training, professional instruction, full uniform and equipment package, full regular season (9U-12U) games in the McHenry County Baseball League (MCBL), and 5-7 local tournaments scheduled for each team, in-house participation is not required. The Stars will begin indoor practices in January in our private 10,000 square foot training facility with regular season games beginning in April. The Stars will play in local tournaments (Rockford being the farthest) selected by each team. The Stars will play their home games at Crystal Lake Baseball’s existing facility, Canterbury Yards located behind Nick’s Pizza at Canterbury Elementary School.
If you are selected to a team, the cost will be $1050 total for the season. Indoor practice will be from January 2020 - March 2020 and the season will run from April 2020 - July 2020.
Crystal Lake Baseball will also have a Stars team for 8u players, that program will include 2 tournaments as well as 6 additional games from April to July. Players will also play in CLB’s In-House recreation league during the regular season. The additional games that the Stars play will occur on Fridays & Sundays (May through June) against NW Chicago Suburban teams. The Stars will play in two tournaments, one in May (Memorial Day Weekend) and one in July (Brian Krueger Memorial Tournament in Lake in the Hills) with other teams from McHenry County. The Stars schedule does not interfere with the in-house schedule.
The 8u program cost will be $325 and will include - full uniforms, helmet w/ decals, two tournament registrations, and additional home/away games against NW Chicago Suburban teams. You must also register for the in-house program.
