CLB Head Coach —
CLB Head Coaches are essential in providing a safe, fun, and instructional baseball experience for all players. Here’s what the role includes:
Create a Safe & Positive Environment
Promote physical and emotional safety. Communicate respectfully with players, parents, umpires, and fellow coaches.Teach the Game
Instruct players on baseball fundamentals and rules, tailored to their age and skill level.Lead & Prepare the Team
Schedule and run practices, assign field positions and batting orders, and ensure the team is game ready.Support Character & Sportsmanship
Model respect, honesty, and care. Help players develop not just as athletes, but as teammates and individuals.Manage Team Logistics & Fields
Communicate with families, hand out uniforms, return all CLB equipment, and prepare and maintain fields before and after practices/games.
Assistant Coach —
Support the Head Coach
Assist with team practices, game preparation, and overall coordination as needed.Promote a Safe & Respectful Environment
Model and encourage positive communication with players, umpires, parents, and fellow coaches.Coach & Motivate Players
Help develop player skills, encourage effort, and foster confidence in a supportive, team-first environment.Help with Field & Game Day Duties
Assist with setting up and taking down fields before and after games and practices.Embrace the Instructional Mission
Recognize that CLB is an instructional league where every player is unique and should experience growth, fun, and a love for the game.
Coaches Helper —
Coaches Helpers support the coaching staff and team logistics to help the season run smoothly. This is a great role for parents looking to stay involved!
Support the Coaching Staff
Help with field setup/take-down, player organization, and basic team needs during practices and games.Coordinate Snacks (If Applicable)
Create and share a team snack schedule if the coach/team chooses to have one.Help Create a Positive Environment
Be a supportive presence for players, families, and coaches throughout the season.

CLB Volunteer Captain —
Each team has a Volunteer Captain to help keep things running smoothly throughout the season. The role includes:
Share Monthly Updates
Receive updates from the CLB Board and post them to your team using SportsEngine.Coordinate Volunteers
Help organize parent volunteers for concessions, events, and other team needs using SignUpGenius or similar tools.Manage Field Clean-Up Week
Oversee your team’s assigned week by organizing coverage and reminding families of field duties.Collect & Upload Team Photos
Assign a team photographer or encourage families to upload photos to your shared Google Folder for CLB use.Support the Coach & Team
Stay in regular contact with your coach and serve as a go-to contact between the team and the CLB Board.
Team Photographer —
Team Photographers help capture the fun and spirit of CLB baseball throughout the season.
Capture Game Moments
Take action shots and candid photos of both teams during your child’s games.Upload to Google Folder
Add photos regularly to your team’s shared Google Folder, so the league can showcase them on CLB’s website and social media.

Snack Shack Volunteer —
Snack Shack Volunteers help keep the concession stand running smoothly during games.
Assist the Snack Shack Manager
Help with setup, serving, and closing duties.Serve Customers
Greet families, serve food/drinks, and keep the line moving.Use the Point-of-Sale Device
Training will be provided—just bring a willingness to learn!Make Change When Needed
Be comfortable handling cash and giving accurate change.
This is a great way to support CLB and meet other baseball families!
Snack Shack Manager —
Snack Shack Managers lead operations for their assigned shifts or days to ensure a clean, friendly, and efficient experience.
Food Safety
Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler certification.Oversee Volunteer Schedule
Help organize and support volunteers throughout the season.Handle Sales & Transactions
Use the Point-of-Sale system and manage money responsibly.Maintain a Clean Environment
Ensure cleanliness of the shack area during and after shifts.Monitor Inventory
Track and report when supplies are low to keep the shack stocked.Support & Communicate
Be available to answer questions and guide volunteers during their shifts.
