Phenom Illinois Youth Travel


 

Phenom Illinois Youth Travel Baseball the travel organization for Crystal Lake Baseball offers a full-time travel baseball program for advanced baseball players ages 9-12. Players must tryout and be selected in order to participate in the travel program.  Phenom Illinois Youth partners with Phenom of Illinois Baseball Academy www.phenomillinois.com to provide a high level of travel baseball for teams 9U-18U

Phenom Youth fees include winter indoor training time at Trinity Athletic Center, use of Phenom trainers for winter team practice and strength and agility training, tournament fees, Nike uniform package, winter training practice jerseys and hat, necessary team equipment, umpires for home games as needed. Phenom Illinois Youth will play their home games at Crystal Lake Baseball’s existing facility, Canterbury Yards located behind Nick’s Pizza at Canterbury Elementary School. Phenom Youth has three levels of teams at each age level (Blue, White, & Red). Phenom Illinois begin indoor practices in December in our private 10,000 square foot training facility with regular season games beginning in April.

  • Phenom is a national organization with teams throughout the country.

  • Phenom Illinois has teams from 9u-18u providing continuity for our youth players through high school.

  • Winter indoor training will be at the Trinity Athletic Center in Lake in the Hills.

  • Phenom has partnerships with Nike, Gatorade and Jaeger bands for our equipment needs.

Blue Teams: Play in AAA and Major tournaments. A minimum of atleast one Major tournament is required.

Focus on player development. Plays highest level available in league play if they play in a league.

White Teams: Play in AA and AAA tournaments. Must play in atleast one AAA tournament.

Focus on player development. Plays in one of the top two levels in league play if they play in a league.

Red Teams: Plays in A and AA tournaments. Must play in atleast one AA tournament.

Focus on player development. Plays in the silver division in league play. This level is a good introduction to travel baseball.
